One of the most iconic cars on British roads in the last 50 years has been the Mini. While the newer versions seem to ooze potential and power and are chunkier than their forebears, we like nothing better than to see a classic Mini Cooper design coming into our garage.
The low clearance and box size epitomises what this brand was all about in the 60s and 70s when it really was in its heyday. Like many vintage vehicles we see at White’s Bodyworks, however, time on the road causes all sorts of minor dings and dents.
This Rover Mini Cooper that came to us recently is no exception. Fortunately, we’ve got a lot of experience with this make of car and all the equipment and garage space you’d expect to see from a premier repair and renovation service for vintage vehicles.
More About the Rover Mini Cooper
It was the iconic sports car of the 60s but the Mini Cooper was reintroduced into the 90s and became an instant success. Ideal for zipping around city streets where parking was at a premium, it was also able to satisfy those who wanted a sporty car to impress their friends.
Ultimately made popular by The Italian Job, it’s a model that the British public have never really fallen out of love with.
What We Did for the Rover Mini Cooper
A lot of the damage you see with many vintage cars is underneath the surface. It’s important to know your way around a particular make or model if you offer restoration services.
As you can see from the images, our job was to strip the car down and then carry out repairs. That was completed by a professional respray to make this Rover Mini Cooper look as good as new.
If you have a classic Mini and need repairs, contact the team at White’s Bodyworks on 01273 933633.
